ALAPPUZHA BEACH
Located near the Alappuzha town, the Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot, The pier extending into the sea is over 137 years old. One of the great attractions for the visitors here is the lighthouse and the Vijaya Beach Park. The park offers a wde range of entertainment facilities like boating, children\’s park with toy train and bicycles, etc.

PATHIRAMANAL Pathiramanal, situated at about 1½-hour drive by motorboat, is a small island on the backwaters of Alappuzha. The Island is a must visit for every bird lover as hundreds of rare birds migrating to the island from different parts of the world. Pathiramanal is accessible only by boat and is surrounded by the Vembanad Lake and the Kayamkulam Lake.

KUTTANAD Kuttanad , also known as the rice bowl of Kerela, is one of the popular tourist region around Alappuzha. Sandwiched between the hills and the sea, Kuttanad stretches for about 75 km. The region is also famous for being the only place in the world to have farming being done below sea level.
